Office Professional Plus 2016 is the full Office suite with a perpetual license for one computer. Its big advantage is broad compatibility: it installs on everything from Windows 7 to Windows 11, so it also suits older office computers.

A note on support

Microsoft ended security updates for Office 2016 in October 2025. The apps work normally for documents, spreadsheets and presentations, but they no longer receive new fixes. For a new computer, or if you often open attachments from unknown senders, we recommend a 2024 edition or a Microsoft 365 subscription from our Office range.

Delivery and activation

1. After payment you receive the product key by email.
2. Install Office from the installation package for this version.
3. Open any app, such as Word, and enter the key when prompted or under File > Account. Activation happens online.

Frequently asked questions

32-bit or 64-bit?

We recommend 64-bit on modern computers. 32-bit is only useful if you rely on add-ins that do not support 64-bit.
