The Office category brings together every way to get Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook: one-time purchase licenses for Microsoft Office 2024, 2021, 2019 and earlier versions, Microsoft 365 subscriptions and an affordable alternative suite. Delivery is electronic, with your activation key emailed after payment.

One-time purchase or subscription?

This is the first decision to make:

• One-time purchase Office (2024, 2021, 2019 and so on): you pay once and use that version on one computer for as long as you like. You do not get new versions, but there is no yearly charge either.
• Microsoft 365: a yearly subscription that always includes the latest apps, 1 TB of OneDrive storage per user, and installation on PC, Mac, tablet and phone.

Microsoft 365 subscriptions

• Microsoft 365 Personal: for one person, across all of their devices.
• Microsoft 365 Family: up to 6 people, each with their own account and their own 1 TB. The best value for families.
• Microsoft 365 Business Standard: for professionals, with business email, Teams and installation on up to 5 PCs or Macs per user.

Which Office edition suits you

• Home or Home & Student: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. Enough for pupils, students and home use.
• Home & Business: adds Outlook and allows commercial use. The right choice for freelancers and small businesses.
• Professional Plus: the full suite, including Access for databases. Also available in 5-user packs for offices.

Check compatibility: some licenses are Windows only, some are Mac only and some cover both PC and Mac. This is always stated in the product title.

New or older version?

Office 2024 and Microsoft 365 are the versions Microsoft currently supports with security updates, and they are what we recommend for new computers. Versions 2021, 2019, 2016, 2013 and 2010 serve those who need to match an existing setup or an older operating system. Delivery and activation

1. You receive the key by email, together with instructions to download from the official Microsoft website.
2. For most versions you link the key to your Microsoft account, so you can find it again and reinstall whenever needed.
3. Open any app, such as Word, and activation completes automatically.

Can I use Office in my own language?

Yes. Multilanguage editions install in English, Greek and many other languages, and you can add further display and proofing languages.

Can I move Office to a new computer?

With licenses linked to a Microsoft account, uninstall from the old computer and install on the new one from your account. With Microsoft 365 subscriptions you manage your devices freely.

What happens when a Microsoft 365 subscription expires?

The apps switch to read-only mode. Your files are not lost, and with a new key the subscription continues where it left off.
