Windows licenses delivered by email

This is where you will find activation keys for Microsoft operating systems: Windows 11 Pro, Windows 11 Home, Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024, Windows 10 Pro, Windows 10 Home and Windows 7 Professional. Every license is digital. You do not receive a box or a USB stick, but a 25-character key that reaches your inbox as soon as your payment is complete.

The licenses are multilanguage. You can install Windows in English, Greek, German, French or any other language, and switch languages later in the settings.

Home or Pro?

Home easily covers everyday use: browsing, email, documents, films and games. Pro includes everything in Home and adds tools that offices and power users usually need:

• BitLocker full-disk encryption, so your data stays safe if a laptop is lost or stolen.
• Remote Desktop, to connect to your computer from another device.
• Hyper-V for virtual machines and Windows Sandbox to test unknown programs safely.
• Domain join and Group Policy, which business networks require.

If you are unsure, Pro is the safer choice, because you will not miss anything later on.

Windows 11 or Windows 10?

For a new installation we recommend Windows 11. It is the version Microsoft actively develops, and it receives regular security updates and new features. It does require a PC with TPM 2.0 and a supported processor, which almost every computer from recent years has.

Windows 10 is mainly for older computers that do not meet the Windows 11 requirements. Free support from Microsoft ended in October 2025, so wherever the hardware allows it, moving to Windows 11 is worth it.

Windows 7 Professional no longer receives updates. It only makes sense for machines that run older specialised software, usually kept offline.

Special editions

• Windows 11 Pro for 2 PCs: one key that activates two devices, handy for a home with two computers or a small office.
• Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024: a long-term servicing edition that receives security updates only, with no feature changes. It suits workstations, point-of-sale systems, kiosks and machines that need to stay the same for years.

Installation and activation

1. Download Windows from the official Microsoft download page and create a USB installer, or upgrade in place.
2. When asked for a product key, enter the one you received by email. If Windows is already installed, enter it under Settings > System > Activation.
3. Activation happens online within a few seconds.

If a key needs restocking, it is sent to you automatically within 3 business days.

Complete your setup

Alongside Windows, most people also need an office suite with Word, Excel and Outlook, plus a reliable antivirus. For business networks, see our Windows Server licenses.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to erase my files to enter the key?

No. If Windows is already installed, simply change the key in the activation settings. Your files and programs stay as they are.

Can I upgrade from Home to Pro?

Yes. Enter a Pro key in the activation settings and Windows upgrades to Pro without a new installation.

How many computers does one license cover?

Each license activates one computer, unless stated otherwise, as with the Windows 11 Pro license for 2 PCs.
