ESET

ESET: light, fast and quiet

Based in Slovakia, ESET has built security software since 1992 and is known for its NOD32 engine, which protects without slowing your computer down. That is why professionals, offices, gamers and anyone with older hardware tend to prefer it.

The new ESET HOME Security range

• HOME Security Essential: antivirus, firewall, banking and payment protection, parental controls and anti-theft for laptops.
• HOME Security Premium: adds a password manager and encryption for sensitive files.
• HOME Security Ultimate: the most complete edition, with VPN and identity protection where available.

All of them are multi-device: the same key protects Windows, macOS and Android, in packs from 1 to 10 devices for 1 or 2 years.

The classic editions

• NOD32 Antivirus: clean, lightweight virus protection for anyone who needs nothing more.
• Internet Security: adds a firewall, network protection and parental controls.
• Smart Security Premium: the top edition of the previous range, with a password manager and encryption.

These licenses also activate normally in the current ESET apps.

For businesses

ESET Small Business Security covers 5 or 10 devices in a small business, protecting computers, phones and file servers from a single console.

Delivery and activation

Your key arrives by email after payment. Download the app from the official ESET website, enter the key and, optionally, link it to your ESET HOME account to manage every device in one place.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between users and devices on the license?

With ESET, each seat on the license is one protected device. A 3-user license covers 3 devices, in any mix of operating systems.

Does it work on an old computer?

Yes. ESET has some of the lowest system requirements in its category and runs comfortably on computers several years old.
